Are you a lean green running machine?

Make a grand entrance into this year’s festival by participating in the largest road race in the Midlands!

All participants in the 10th annual St. Pat’s in Five Points Get to the Green will receive entry into the festival and the official race T-shirt.

The race begins at 8 a.m. on March 17, 2012, and consists of a 5k Run and a 1-mile walk through the tree-lined streets of Shandon.

Participants will chase the rainbows through the course to the pot of gold at the Finish Line. The Start Line is located at the intersection of Blossom and Santee Streets, and the Finish Line is on Devine Street at the festival entrance.

PARKING: Garage parking is available at the USC Parking Garage on the corner of Blossom and Bull Streets. This is the most convenient place to park and has been reserved for race participants.

NOTE: If you choose not use the parking garage and park along any side street, you will need to walk around the festival as the gates will not be open for any walk through traffic until 9 a.m.

Awards will be given for runners and walkers as well as the Best Dressed Leprechaun!
